Red Fife is a heritage or heirloom wheat, considered to be Canada's oldest wheat variety. It has not undergone the hybridization of modern wheats. It is a favourite of artisan bakers due to its exceptional flavour and baking properties. It is excellent for making artisan bread, bagels, pizza dough, crackers, pancakes, waffles and a variety of sourdough and soaked baked goods. Gluten intolerant?
