Whole, hot smoked, ready to eat, rainbow trout fillets produced from fresh farm raised Ontario rainbow trout fillets averaging 7-9 ounces in size. The only added ingredients are natural wood smoke, sea salt, and organic cane sugar.  The individual fillets are vacuum packaged in oxygen permeable film and fully labelled for retail sale.  They freeze well.  If kept fresh and unopened, they have a federally mandated 'use before' date of 14 days from the day of airtight sealing. Each cardboard box contains a net weight of 2.27 kilograms (5 lb) of smoked trout, usually 10 to 12 pieces.

Our product is hot smoked, beginning with a fresh fillet approximately 7 to 9 ounces weight, and adding only sea salt, organic cane sugar, and natural wood smoke. The ready-to-eat smoked fillets may be ordered in a loose pack or retail ready individually packaged form.
